Founded in 1991, Vircell is a biotechnology company specialised in the development and production of ready-to-use reagents for the diagnosis of infectious diseases in humans by means of different techniques, ranging from traditional cell culture to the most innovative developments in Molecular Biology. Thanks to its own production of antigens necessary for the development of its equipment, Vircell works independently of external suppliers. This peculiarity makes Vircell a flexible company able to guarantee the total quality of its products. The reliability of its kits is the result of a strict quality control according to international standards. All its IVD products are CE marked, following the European directive 98/79/CE. In addition, Vircell is ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO9001 AENOR-IQNet and ISO9001 AENOR certified and is immersed in the implementation of GMP standards.
Since 2014 Vircell is closer to Spanish customers with its own distribution network in the country. We maintain our quality standards, but we provide Spanish laboratories with our R&D and Customer Care services to meet their needs first-hand and optimise customer service. Vircell Spain has a team of great professionals with a solid experience in the distribution of diagnostic reagents, full knowledge of the market and the reality of Spanish laboratories.
